Overview
Customers may request cancellation of their hosting or other services when they no longer require them. Cancellation and refund are separate processes; cancelling a service does not automatically make the customer eligible for a refund.
Cancellation Due to Non-Renewal
If a service is not renewed after its expiry date, it may initially be suspended due to non-renewal.
If the service remains unpaid for 30 days after suspension, it may be cancelled/terminated from the hosting system.
Customers who wish to continue using the service should renew it within the applicable renewal period to avoid service interruption or cancellation.
Customer-Requested Cancellation
Customers who no longer require a service can request its cancellation through the appropriate support or client-area process.
Before requesting cancellation, customers should ensure that they have:
-
Downloaded any required website files.
-
Taken necessary backups.
-
Exported databases if required.
-
Saved any required emails and other data.
-
Confirmed whether the domain is also being cancelled or will remain active.
Cancellation of hosting does not necessarily mean cancellation of the domain name. Domain registration and hosting are separate services unless otherwise specified.
Cancellation Due to Policy Violations
We reserve the right to suspend or cancel services that violate our applicable Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, or other service policies.
Examples may include:
-
Hosting prohibited or illegal content.
-
Abuse of server resources.
-
Activities that negatively affect server stability or other customers.
-
Spam or abusive email activity.
-
Malicious activity or attempts to compromise systems.
-
Using the service for purposes prohibited by the applicable hosting policy.
-
Repeated violations after receiving warnings or instructions from our technical team.
Services cancelled due to policy violations may not be eligible for a refund.
Cancellation and Data
Once a service has been cancelled or terminated, associated website, email, database, and other account data may eventually be removed according to our applicable retention and backup procedures.
Customers are therefore responsible for maintaining their own backups of important data before requesting cancellation.
Cancellation vs. Refund
Cancellation and refund are different:
-
Cancellation: Stops the service from continuing or renewing.
-
Refund: Returns an eligible payment under the applicable Refund Policy.
Cancelling a service does not automatically result in a refund.
For refund eligibility, please refer to our Refund Policy.
